Starting to see some improvement on these beads. Ideas are flooding my brain
and sleep is almost impossible.
Tried another pressed one with some shore attached.. not too bad. But I am really
liking the round ones with some of the shore attached..
I make three or four beads and wish I could take the best from each one and put
them all together in one bead...KSC

Ok now I am getting some where.
Round is definately the shape that works the best.
I now have fairly good jellyfish and their hangy down things are showing
up better.. shoot I gotta look up what that word really is.. Too busy in the shop for a dictionary.
Anyways. I have little sandollar things, sea flowers, coral, seaweed,
and other crustations that really are not but they look great inside the beads..
Lots of bubbles to get the water affect...

|

Well finally I feel I have achieved something.
The beads are looking better and better all the time.
I am getting more and more things in one bead. They flow nicely and the jelly
fish are actually looking like they should. After some thinking I realized I need to have them sunk in deeply not just a bit...
The ocean flora feels right.. makes me want to snorkel there.
The coral looks like it is floating on the waves. Ahhh almost there..
Now I need to figure out how to make little fish murrini and then I will be set.

I absolutely love this bead. Now if I could jst get a little fish like Nemo to
swim through the coral I would be happy.
There is always tomorrow and no sleep
tonight.

Ok here are some more. Feeling a bit more confidant
with the working of these, but still have to work out some
problems.
Love the angle of this one.
|

But around the other side of that bead
lies this horrible coral I made. Thinking
thicker would be better..mmmm
|

The fish is awesome in this one.. I did it!
I got a little fish swimming through the
coral,, but then the jelly fish did not show up...@#%@#$
|
|

So here I started playing with some other
color combos for reef life..
Loving these flower things..
|

Blue coral,, funny I know,
but it shows up great. I Might have
to put an orange fish in there..You know
complimentary colors and all.
|

Just when I thought things were going good.
The coral around the fish is fuzzy. The fishes eye, too big.
!@#$#%
|
|

Good grief..!
|

Okay so someone in this house said I should squish them
again,, what was I thinking... Although the bead is cool, it certainly is
not an aquarium bead..
|

The fish is cute,, but really now, can you tell it is a fish?
|
|

So I went back to the dark brown and white sand dollar things.
I like them. I like this angle too, you can see the fish swimming away.
|

But again the jelly fish do not show up,, !$%@$%^@#
|

Coral got fuzzy and I am even topping it with clear.
But all in all this bead is not too bad. Fish is cute.
|
|

Used some 96 frit over white trying to make sure the jelly fish shows up.. well
it did, not too bad a color and this bead is actually looking like I want them too.
|

Okay I have repeatedly got the fish to work.. now it is just a matter of getting
the coral to work all the time and then I will be done..
|

Doubling up on the jelly fish tentacles and I think it is helping.
I like them to be white,, but that fades out sometimes. Working on a darker background
helps,, Duh..
|
|

This is the best one so far. The picture does not do it justice.
But I am finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel..
|

Interesting shape. I spun the @#$ out of it Alexx Cheng style while it was still
fairly hot. Not a bad bead.
|

Another view of this shape in my fingers. Gives you an idea at how big these
puppies are.

|
Continuing on my journey.
The search for the perfect mix of glasses for
the jelly fish and
the coral and the right combo for
the fish and sea life.
